About Us
Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining is one of the fastest growing industries in the world today with some estimates being in the region of 45 million people being directly involved in small-scale and artisanal mining and more than 100 million people involved indirectly, such as traders, merchants, cooks, barbers etc. Entire communities develop around mining sites where resources are discovered. Over 90% of the worlds mining workforce come from the ASM sector.
London Commodity Capital aims to be the fund of choice for small scale miners that require a short-term cash injection in order to mechanize, increase production or improve their logistic capabilities in order to reach the export market.
We are unique in that our clients have the option to repay their loan in the commodity mined. We select clients that are either already in production or are able to get into production quickly. We are dedicated to revolutionizing the mining industry by empowering small and artisanal miners (ASMs) through a holistic approach. With a focus on the Battery Metal space and leveraging our expertise, we support ASM communities in Southern Africa.

Where We Operate
Our core focus is the South of Africa, predominantly, Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Our main interests lie in metals markets, mainly in copper, gold, lead and battery metals. We secure offtakes and procure our commodities from Small Scale and Artisanal miners. However we will also consider other commodities such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, thermal coal and anthracite.
